Beautiful Newborn Baby Photography Kent by Emma Louise Photography
I do love it when I receive an email from friends of excited Mums-to-be wanting to invest in a gift voucher photography session with me. It’s such a thoughtful baby shower present, and also one which will last long after the nappy cake is outgrown!
Featured here is one such lucky Mum who I met with Dad and their gorgeous little girl Esme to take her first official portraits. The session was held in her beautifully decorated nursery and began with Esme gently sleeping in her cot. This image as well as the ones where baby is snuggled safely in Mum or Dad’s arms are favourites of mine as it shows just how tiny baby once was. When you revisit the same pose in twelve months time you will see a baby suddenly on the cusp of toddlerhood, who no longer fits so snugly in your hands.
Newborn Baby Photography Sessions in Kent
Newborn baby portrait sessions are very relaxed, with a ‘go with the flow’ approach. I prefer to do these shoots in the comfort of your own home with you baby in familiar surroundings and creature comforts available. I provision a minimum of two to four hours for these sessions and I will work around the needs of you, your baby and your routine. Please don’t worry if baby is uncooperative, I am happy to wait until they’re ready, and if they’re not then I can reschedule.
