After some gentle persuasion (and bribery with a chocolate brownie) I managed to get N in the mood for some portraits of her beautiful baby bump recently. By the end of our session she was thoroughly enjoying herself and afterwards sent me a lovely message thanking me for making her feel so pretty for a day. I know maternity portraiture isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it just goes to prove if you try it, you might like it. Pregnancy is such a special and unique time; it’d be a shame not to have record of it.
