Molly was the third of a group of NCT babies I had the honour of photographing as a newborn, having visited her friends Alice and Georgia previously.
Molly was around six weeks when these images were taken. For the tiny scrunched up newborn images I always recommend your session takes place around 7-10 days post birth as this is generally when baby is most settled and still very poseable after being tucked safely in Mum’s tummy for the preceding nine months. But if you can’t manage the 7-10 day window please don’t worry; it doesn’t mean that there isn’t still time organise a newborn session. As you can see the images of 6 week old newborn Molly are absolutely perfect, because she was a little older we got some lovely smiles and beautiful portraits of Molly with Mummy and Daddy too.
Her Dad enjoys computers and DJing, so we had to get a picture of her operating the Apple Mac and donning Daddy’s supercool headphones!
Please note that some of these images are composites; supporting hands have been carefully removed in Photoshop. Newborn safety is of paramount importance in my sessions.
