The Best Newborn Baby Photography Kent – by Emma Louise Photography, Edenbridge
It’s been such a year. When it came to reviewing my ‘Best of 2015’ images, I decided I’d have to split it into a couple of posts otherwise it would be the blog that never ended – which now we’re on the cusp of a brand new 366 days, it feels like 2015 was just that.
So, let’s start with my very popular Bump to Baby portrait sessions where most of my time was invested this year. It seems I’ve travelled around the majority of Kent, Surrey, London and beyond with my mobile studio to produce some of my Best Newborn Baby Photography images featured in this post. I can’t tell you how many new baby cuddles I’ve enjoyed, how many times I’ve been called a ‘baby whisperer’ and asked if I offer a nanny service as well. Nor can I specify how many times I’ve been within firing range of baby pee (or worse) although luckily for me it’s been mostly Dad’s who’ve made the easy target this year!
I’ve met some absolutely lovely and very excited parent’s to be who in turn became extremely proud new Mum’s and Dad’s just a few weeks later. All of you were amazing, thank you so much for inviting me to capture those precious yet fleeting newborn moments. It isn’t a task I undertake lightly, and my job isn’t complete until I hear just how delighted you have all been with your galleries. I know I’ve caused a few tears amongst you, and I’m not sorry for that!
Bump to Baby Photography or Stand Alone Photography Sessions
2016 is shaping up to be another busy year for me already, I know you probably think it’s some kind of sales pitch when photographers mention how important it is to book your pregnancy photography or newborn baby photography session in advance of baby’s due date but really, it is. I had lots of last minute enquiries this year – many after baby had already arrived. Sometimes I can fit you in, but more often than not I’m already booked. So please let’s pencil your dates in already, I’m excited to meet you!
The best time for your pregnancy photography session is any time from 28-34 weeks, and for newborn baby photography I look to schedule you in within the first 14 days post birth.
